This notice complies with the EU GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG). It describes what this website actually does today — if that changes, this page is updated before the change goes live, not after.

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Julian Kaufmann, trading as Jaymotion, 4142 Münchenstein, Switzerland — hello@jaymotion.ch. There is no separate data protection officer; enquiries go to the same address.

Contact form

Data submitted through the contact form (name, email, message) is used solely to reply to your enquiry and is sent by email — it is not stored in a database. The sender's IP address is included in that email as a basic anti-spam measure; this is processed on the legal basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not used for any other purpose. A technically necessary session cookie applies a short rate-limit to the form to reduce automated abuse; it carries no tracking purpose and expires when the browser is closed.

Retention: enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting engagement, and are deleted at the latest 24 months after the last contact, unless Swiss commercial record-keeping obligations (OR Art. 958f, 10 years) apply to a resulting contract. The rate-limit counter holds a one-way hash of the IP address for 10 minutes and is then discarded.

Fonts

All fonts on this site are self-hosted. No request is made to Google or any other third party to display text, and no visitor data is sent anywhere for this purpose.

Embedded video (YouTube)

Project films are embedded via YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you deliberately click play on a specific video — opening this page or a project does not by itself contact YouTube or Google. The preview image you see before clicking is served from this website, not from Google. Once you click play, YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) may process data under its own privacy policy; see Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookie & consent preferences

This site uses only technically necessary cookies. A small preference (whether you have opted in to "external media & future analytics") is stored in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie, and is used only to remember your choice on this device. You can review or change it at any time via "Privacy settings" in the footer, or withdraw it entirely by clearing your browser's site data.

Analytics & advertising

No analytics or advertising service (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads) is currently active on this site. If either is added in future, it will only run for visitors who have opted in via the cookie preferences above, this notice will be updated first to name the service and describe its data processing, and the technical safeguards (e.g. IP anonymisation) in place.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Consent given here can be withdrawn in one click via “Privacy settings” in the footer. For any data request, contact hello@jaymotion.ch; no request is charged for and you will hear back within 30 days.

Right to complain

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern — edoeb.admin.ch. In the EU/EEA you may complain to the supervisory authority of your country of residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

International transfers

This website is hosted in the EU by Hostinger. No personal data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA by the site itself. If you choose to play an embedded video, YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) may transfer data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Google’s standard contractual clauses. That transfer only ever happens after your click.
